Since weather is often unpredictable--and on occasion, island landings may be wet--be sure to dress comfortably in layers, wear sturdy shoes, protect your camera, snacks etc. by putting them in plastic bags, and be physically and mentally prepared for possible "extra excitement" as you discover the unique nature of Channel Islands National Park.
