MORRO BAY - Every Martin Luther King weekend, hundreds of birders visit Morro Bay - a Globally Important Bird Area - to see, photograph, and learn more about birds. Morro Bay is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Pacific Flyway. The area offers pristine beaches, beautiful state parks, an excellent natural history museum, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and, best of all, thousands of birds. Over 200 species are usually sighted during the Festival weekend.

PASO ROBLES - Celebrate the 19th Annual Esprit du Vin, the "Spirit of Wine" where 46 East wineries will gather under one roof for an exciting night of delicious wine and cheese pairings, culinary delights, live music, and a wine loving crowd! Each winery will be featuring wines paired with different gourmet cheeses. Stroll around and savor each pairing while enjoying live music by local artists, gourmet appetizers and desserts from a variety of local chefs and artisans!

CAMBRIA - The annual Cambria Art & Wine Festival is a three-day celebration of fine wines and art on California's Central Coast. It features a Kickoff Party seated five-course dinner with wine pairing, a two-day art show and wine tasting, plus many off-site activities including an art auction and additional wine tastings throughout the villages.

PASO ROBLES - Take a drive out to the coast and enjoy some Paso Wine! Paso Robles’ winemakers love to blend, mixing varieties to craft something unique and delicious. BlendFest celebrates these rule-breaking, unconventional wines throughout the weekend on the beautiful California Coast.

CAMBRIA - Come to this first annual Art and Craft Festival. This fun-filled, free event will feature a variety of vendors and include raffles and refreshments available for purchase.

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing, “Dance Me to the Stars” explores the vast richness of our universe. Canzona welcomes Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo and its artistic director Theresa Slobodnik to share the stage with brand new choreography to accompany the ensemble’s performance of several selections, including Christine Donkin’s “Magnificat”. Event will be held at United Methodist church in San Luis Obispo.

SAN LUIS OBISPO - As their rapidly changing country slips into totalitarianism, three artist-intellectuals try to make sense of their changing lives in this searing and prescient drama. CAMBRIA - Enjoy an elegant evening with a delicious meal in the Peacock Room at Cambria Pines Lodge. Partnering with J. Lohr Vineyards and Wineries from Paso Robles, to bring you an expertly-prepared wine pairing dinner. This five-course meal will be accompanied by hand-selected J. Lohr wines and a J. SAN LUIS OBISPO - Starting at 2pm, the PAC Main Lobby will be filled with crafts, activities and plenty of entertainment for the whole family! Featured local organizations will be on hand to share information on programs for young people in the community. At 3pm, Harold Miossi Hall opens for a magical performance by CATAPULT. This fascinating shadow-illusion show is great for audiences of all ages!

PASO ROBLES - Join in on a beautiful ride through Paso Robles Wine Country. Enjoy the back roads and the wildflowers of spring in beautiful Paso Robles, CA. There is your choice between a 26-mile ride and a 50-mile ride. Come out to this event to enjoy some beautiful scenery, live music, lunch, wine, and your chance at winning one of the event’s awards. Money raised will be benefiting The Cancer Support Community-Central Coast. Registration is $75.00.

MORRO BAY - Don’t miss this widely anticipated 17th annual event April 3rd, 4th & 5th. This is an excellent way to meet the locals and explore the entire town. Sellers will open at 8:00am each day. You never know what treasure you will find!

PASO ROBLES - The nationally renowned 30th Annual Cattlemen's Western Art Show is presented in the beautiful, historic, Central California town of Paso Robles. The show includes work by 50 professional Western Artists and continues to offer all original art that has not been displayed at the show before. Admission is free all day on Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss the Cattlemen's BBQ Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. Barbeque is $10.00 per plate.

MORRO BAY - From April 13th - 16th, the Inaugural Morro Bay Plein Air Festival welcomes painters and visitors to Morro Bay, California to capture on canvas and explore the town’s charm. Artists from around the country will gather to capture and explore the Embarcadero and downtown. Spring is the perfect time of year to capture the ocean views, harbor scenery and surrounding mountain vistas.

SAN LUIS OBISPO - After the collapse of civilization, a group of survivors share a campfire and begin to piece together the plot of “The Simpsons” episode “Cape Fear” entirely from memory. 7 years later, this and other snippets of pop culture have become the live entertainment of a post-apocalyptic society. 75 years later, these are the myths and legends from which new forms of performance are created.

MORRO BAY - Discover a fun FREE event on the Central Coast. Watch kites of every size and color. This is a family affair perfect for all ages and lifestyles, hosted on the beach just north of Morro Rock. You will find kites of every size and color soaring in the abundant wind Morro Bay has at this time of year. Internationally acclaimed kite flyers Stephen Versteegh will showcase their incredible kite flying talent with their GIANT aquatic themed kites.

PASO ROBLES - Arts, crafts, antiques, vintage sidecars and motorcycles converge on Downtown City Park for this nostalgic event. Peruse the pre-1950s era vintage sidecars and motorcycle or stop by the vendors booths located throughout Downtown City Park. This snapshot in time event is sure to please the vintage auto-enthusiast and is geared for the entire family. This event will be held in the Paso Robles Downtown City Park on April 27 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Free Admission.

SAN LUIS OBISPO - St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church invites you to the annual San Luis Obispo Greek Festival to learn about Greek culture, eat delicious authentic Greek meals and dance to the sounds of Greece. The event will showcase traditional Greek dishes, pastries, and offer the opportunity for you to learn Syrto, traditional Greek dancing! The SLO Greek Festival is free to the public.

AVILA BEACH - The story of Slightly Stoopid, at its core, is one of brotherhood. SAN LUIS OBISPO - This retrospective exhibition explores the prints of Rachael Winn Yon, a Central Coast artist who passed away in December 2019. Rachael Winn Yon was joyous, adventurous, curious, and energetic. Her large personality is reflected in her prints, with playful imagery and imaginative scenes. MORRO BAY - Adapting to social guidelines set in place due to COVID-19, Cuesta College Community Programs is bringing this year’s event to you via Zoom.  2020 Keynote speakers are Christopher Moore, Joran Rosenfield, and Monica Piper.  Attendees are able to submit stories for possible publication. Registration includes recorded copy of classes.

CAMBRIA & SAN SIMEON - Cambria is one of the most artistic towns on the Central Coast, and nothing is a better example of this than the annual Scarecrow Festival. Each October, hundreds of imaginative and lively scarecrows are placed throughout Cambria’s East and West Villages, Moonstone Beach, and San Simeon. Strolling through town and spotting scarecrows is the perfect socially distant activity in Autumn.

CAMBRIA - The Cambria Christmas Market will be replaced by Lights at Cambria Pines. This light display includes many of the light displays from Cambria Christmas Market but will undergo changes to ensure guest and staff safety. Lights at Cambria Pines will only be accessible to guests booked on the Christmas rate at Cambria Pines Lodge, J Patrick House & Inn, and Sea Otter Inn, Nov 27 – Jan 2 (closed Dec 24 and 25).

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Visit San Luis Obispo during its brightest season yet. Local storefronts and streets in the city’s downtown core are uniting to “Light Up Downtown,” an unforgettable walkable and drivable event that’s fun and safe for the whole family. MORRO BAY - Morro Bay gets into the holiday spirit while remembering its fishing roots with a giant tree made entirely from commercial crab pots.  All December long you can find the Morro Bay crab pot tree on the South T-Pier.  It is the perfect spot to snap a festive family holiday picture with Morro Rock in the background.

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Virtual event. The Cal Poly Symphony will present the music of George Walker and Ludwig van Beethoven in its fall virtual presentation at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the 20-minute concert portion, students will be interviewed about their experiences with the challenging process of preparing for and presenting a concert during a pandemic, and behind the scenes videos from fall quarter rehearsals will be shown.

ATASCADERO - The City of Atascadero is delighted to present its annual Light Up the Downtown Holiday Celebration Drive-In to be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the Sunken Gardens, Downtown Atascadero. Due to COVID-19, it will be a scaled-down, safe event for the entire family to enjoy!

ATASCADERO - The Annual Holiday Magic celebration is back! Zookeepers have stepped in as Santa’s Elves to prepare gifts for the animals. Santa will be at the Zoo on Saturday, December 19th to help welcome visitors and deliver gifts to the animals. Join Santa and the staff for some Holiday Magic at the Charles Paddock Zoo to enjoy the festivities!

CAMBRIA - The 4th annual Cambria Film Festival offers guests a hybrid viewing experience. The 68 selected films will be presented with a mix of virtual screenings and a few, limited capacity, theater viewings. These international films focus on romance, romantic comedies and the complexities of love. Over the course of the four-day festival, guests will watch the best of the submitted shorts, features and documentaries.
